It's a deeply dark and bloody tale of seven noble families fighting for control of the mythical land of Westeros.
But even The Game Of Thrones stars have their lighter moments amid all the murder, mayhem and treachery.
On Friday HBO released a hilarious two-minute blooper reel from their hit drama at Comic-Con in San Diego, California.

It's not supposed to be funny!: Pedro Pascal as Prince Oberyn Martell couldn't stop laughing after his character's bloody death
The clips, all taken from the fourth season, include, most notably Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as his brother Jamie dancing down the aisle of the court where Tyrion has just been condemned to death for murder.
With Jamie's armour jingling, they break into a version of Good King Wenceslas as the gathered lords and ladies laugh and clap along.
Meanwhile, Pedro Pascal as Prince Oberyn Martell, aka the Red Viper, stood just a little bit too close to one of the set's flaming torches and nearly set himself on fire.

And Pascal, covered in what was supposed to be his character's brains, couldn't stop laughing after his own bloody death.
Emilia Clarke, who plays the normally regal Daenerys Targaryen, quickly reverted to her London accent when one her accolytes addressed her using with the wrong title, snapping: 'I'm a Khaleesi, not a queen. For f***'s sake, mate!'
Veteran actor Charles Dance as ruler Tywin Lannister sat on the Iron Throne and completely forgot his lines, saying, 'Me? Is it me?'

One of the most feared and mysterious of the drama series many strange characters are the White Walkers. But one didn't seem quite so scary when he fell off his horse.
After killing off so many of the cast in series four, HBO also announced some new members for series five.
But fans will have to wait until next April to see season five of the show, based on A Song of Ice And Fire, George R. R. Martin's series of fantasy novels.
