During Thursday's blowout World Cup semifinal match between Germany and Brazil (you know, when Germany scored 5 times in the first 29 minutes), fans the world over took notice and naturally began Tweeting about it—to the tune of 35.6 million Tweets during the game! That incredible number makes the 92-minute match the most-discussed single sports game ever on Twitter, according to the social network.
While many of the Tweets expressed shock and awe at Germany trampling Brazil with a final score of 7-1, several jokesters editorialized about the game with some seriously LOL-worthy memes.
